CITIZEN ASSIST – 3:11pm – 5000 block of Ball Rd. - A truck driver was driving through the alley and knocked over the caller’s trees. The driver was trying to leave. The caller asked him for his driver’s license and he refused. Both parties were counseled, and the driver’s information was provided to the property management company for a civil matter.
EXTRA PATROL CHECKS – 11:18pm – 6400 block of Ferne Ave. - Extra patrol checks requested due to suspicious subjects and vehicles seen in the area. The caller advised there had been several burglaries of his neighbors recently and thought there was a lot of casing as well.

COUNSELING – 5:45pm – 9300 block of Lime Ci. - Regarding a security guard that locked the caller in a parking garage in Costa Mesa. The caller was advised that she would have to file a report with the Costa Mesa Police Department. She was advised to contact the security company to file a complaint.
SUSPICIOUS OCCUPIED VEHICLE – 10:51pm – Electric/Lincoln - Police contacted the mother of the juvenile female and asked if she was allowed to be out with an 18-year-old male subject. The female was determined to have permission to go to Starbucks, not to be parking, and she was to be sent home. Counseled.

DISTURBANCE (Subject) – 1:04pm – 4900 block of Katella Ave. - The caller was upset that a male subject opened his door and hit her vehicle. There was no damage, but the caller did not like how the subject was talking to her. Counseled.
DISTURBANCE (Family) – 4:17pm – 8500 block of LaSalle - The disturbance was between a mother and son. According to the caller, the disturbance had been going on all day, but the son had just thrown a chair at the patio window. The son left prior to the arrival of police. Matter solved.

DISTURBANCE – 3:31pm – Moody/Ball - A female was seen hiding from her boyfriend, who slashed her tires. The subject tried to cut her off and almost ran her over, but she was able to dodge his vehicle. Police determined that the disturbance was verbal only, and the female did not require police assistance.
KEEP THE PEACE – 5:50pm – 5600 block of Saint Ann - The caller requested police stand by while she picked up her 4-year-old daughter from her mother. The peace was kept, and the caller agreed to let her daughter stay with the grandmother overnight. Counseled.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON – 4:52pm – 4100 block of Ball Rd. - A subject was inside the bathroom, possibly doing drugs. The caller said that the last time the subject was there, he left needles inside, and the caller was told to call the police if he returned. The subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant for drug charges.
ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON REPORT – 6:53pm – 5400 block of Lindsey Ln. - The caller’s cousin was beat up by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. A unit was requested to contact the suspect.

WELFARE CHECK – 10:19am – 5300 block of Vista Hermosa - The caller requested a welfare check on her elderly father, whom she said was kidnapped by her brother. Police determined the kidnapping to be unfounded. The father was living with his son willingly and the complaint was over a conservatorship. Counseled.
COUNSELING – 4:03pm – 9900 block of Holder - The caller was communicating with a female subject on Tumblr, and the person put a post that she was going to kill herself. The caller had only a first name and the subject lived in Texas. Counseled.

COUNSELING – 8:40am – 9700 block of Paseo de Oro - The caller’s grandson was dropped off by a babysitter who said she couldn’t watch him anymore. The babysitter told the caller that the parents left and hadn’t returned to pick up the child. The caller stated that she would take care of the child and that the parents may have been arrested. Counseled.
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE – 9:10pm – 6100 block of Lincoln Ave. - Police located a 2012 Dodge Avenger, confirmed stolen out of Porterville. According to the motel manager, a male and female drove the vehicle in. Police contacted the subjects and conducted a search of the room. The male was arrested for possession of stolen property and drug charges. The registered owner of the vehicle was notified by phone.
